It’s smartphone season, and Apple just unveiled the new iPhone 14, iPhone 14 plus, iPhone 14 pro and iPhone 14 pro max at its lineup at the company’s Far Out Apple event, and pre-orders for all four iPhones have just been activated.

The phones will officially ship on September 16 for iPhone 14, iPhone 14 pro and iPhone 14 pro max and October 7 for iPhone 14 plus, but you can pre-order them now. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 plus appear to be fairly iterative updates, with major updates in design, specs and camera reserved for the iPhone 14 pro series.

The iPhone 14 pro and iPhone 14 pro max have both been revamped, with Apple cutting the controversial notch down to a little pill cut out at the top. It also introduced something called “Dynamic Island,” a neat mix of software and hardware that essentially uses the cut-out to Apple’s advantage. Rather than trying to disguise sensors like other smartphone makers, this dynamic area at the top is interactive and expands when you get an alert or have an app running in the background.

While the base iPhone 14 looks almost identical to the iPhone 13, this year Apple introduced a 6.7-inch plus version alongside the standard 6.1-inch model, rather than an iPhone mini. Some of the new features include traffic accident detection sensors, a larger main camera sensor for brighter images, and an updated version of Apple’s A15 Bionic chip.

Whether you are looking to upgrade to an iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 pro, we will constantly update this page with all the best iPhone 14 pre-order offers from the UK’s largest mobile network operators, as well as third party retailers.

Three offers the 128GB iPhone 14 pro at £ 36.50 per month for the first six months of the contract in any of the color variations. You have to pay £ 70 upfront, but you get unlimited data and messages. You will then have to pay £ 73 per month after the first six months are up.

Sky Mobile currently offers the 128GB iPhone 14 pro model in any of its four colors available for £ 37 per month when you sign up for a 36-month contract. There is no advance charge. However, a data plan must be added. These start at £ 2 per month, but Sky is doubling the data for all iPhone 14 pre-orders. You can also get the iPhone 14 pro max for £ 40 per month and without any upfront charges.

Sky also has the best deal on the cheapest iPhone 14. Prices start at just £ 28 per month with no upfront charges. A 2GB plan costs £ 6 per month, so technically it costs £ 34 per month in total, but you’ll get 2GB more.

Apple iPhone 14 Price: How Much Does the iPhone 14 Cost in the UK?

Rumors prior to the Apple event suggested the iPhone 14 could rise by $ 100 (£ 86) in the US due to the global economic downturn and rising component prices. However, while it turns out that the iPhone 14 has not had a price hike in the US, all four phones have gone up in price in the UK, potentially due to the strengthening of the US dollar.

The base iPhone 14 starts at £ 849 for the 128GB model, while the iPhone 14 plus costs £ 949. That’s a £ 70 increase over last year’s base iPhone 13, which at launch cost £ 779.

Both the iPhone 14 pro and iPhone 14 pro max received a £ 150 price increase over the iPhone 13 pro and pro max. The iPhone 14 pro starts at £ 1,099 for the 128GB model, while the 14 pro max starts at £ 1,199.

The price jump is in line with Apple’s other launches this year, so it’s not a complete surprise. The 2022 iPhone SE, for example, costs £ 419, an increase of £ 30 over the second-generation iPhone SE from 2020. Meanwhile, the two most recent Apple MacBook launches, the MacBook air M2 and the MacBook pro M2, they have both received a good amount of price increases. The MacBook pro M2 now costs £ 100 more, while the MacBook air M2 has received a £ 300 price increase.
